Event jersey and ID tag collection
Each year a brand new jersey design is released for all registered Bupa Challenge Tour participants.
The jersey is worn by all participants of the Bupa Challenge Tour.
The 2017 jersey design
You are required to check in and collect your jersey and ID tag prior to the day from the Bupa Challenge Tour registration tent, located in the Adelaide City Council Tour Village (next to the big inflatable MAC bike).
Individual jersey and ID tag collection
Individual participants can collect their jersey and ID tag at any of the pre-event check-in sessions listed below. Please bring evidence of your booking and payment with you, such as your official email/letter of confirmation.
Individual jerseys, which have not been collected at one of the pre-event check-in sessions, can be collected at your nominated start location on ride day.
Team jersey and ID tag collection
A team representative must collect ALL the team jerseys at either the Saturday, Sunday or Monday pre-event check-in sessions in the Adelaide City Council Tour Village and distribute them to each team member, before commencing the ride.
Unless previously arranged in writing, team jerseys will NOT be available for collection on Thursday or the morning of the ride.
Bupa Challenge Tour ID Tag
You will receive an official ID tag at check in. This ID tag is not just your entry to the event; it provides us with vital information to be used in the event of an emergency. This tag is your unique identification in the case of an emergency. For this reason your ID tag is NOT transferable and MUST be clearly visible at all times while you are on the ride.
Using someone else’s tag compromises our ability to render assistance in the case of an emergency.
Your official ID Tag will record your ride time. Your time for the 2017 event will be published online on Monday 23 January 2017.
No Jersey & ID TAG, No Ride.
Security will be enforcing that all participants have on display their ID tag and are wearing the official jersey. Failure to do both of these things will exclude you from entering refreshment stops, closed roads and riding under the finish arch.
The event has ordered jerseys based on your specified size at the time you registered. It may be possible for you to swap your Bupa Challenge Tour jersey with another registered rider before the event by attending the Great Jersey Swap. A complimentary ‘cloakroom transfer’ service will operate, enabling you to have spare clothing transported to the finish.
