Cycling enthusiasts and recreational cyclists left Norwood on the Bupa Challenge Tour just hours before the professionals tackled the stage.
Riders took on the well-known Norton Summit Climb before making their way to the coastal town of Victor Harbor.
Recreational cyclists and fans of all ages cheered on the peloton as they raced for the finish line with a stunning beach backdrop.

Love cycling? Don't miss the Bupa Challenge Tour. You'll get to ride the same Bupa Stage 4 route as the pro cyclists. Held on Friday 22 January from Norwood to Victor Harbor, the 2016 participants could choose from four distances, from 36km to the full 142.4km.
Street parties, a free concert and more - don't miss the Santos Festival of Cycling
Along with the world-class racing, visitors to the Santos Tour Down Under can enjoy an array of celebrations. These range from a free opening night concert through to Family Day on the final day of racing, with street parties, markets and community celebrations along the way.
