Cycling South Australia has developed a program of races to be staged during the week of the Santos Tour Down Under. IGA Cyclo SportifNew to Cycling South Australias calendar is the IGA Cyclo Sportif. The IGA Cyclo Sportif is designed for bike riders who don't want to race but want to be challenged. It's a timed team event with teams of nine riders and a minimum of five challenging the clock over a set distance of approximately 46 kilometres.

The IGA Cyclo Sportif is ideal for recreational cyclists looking to have fun, be challenged and improve fitness levels and cycling capability in an organised, friendly and safe event environment.Whether you ride with a bunch of mates on the weekend, a coffee shop group or a business corporate team the IGA Cyclo Sportif is for you.This concept of racing will revolutionise recreational cycling as we currently know it.  

Round three of the Series will be held during the Santos Tour Down Under in January.

Round 1:  Sunday 6 December 2009 (Williamstown)
Round 2:  Sunday 20 December 2009 (Snapper Point)
Round 3:  Sunday 17 January 2010 (West Lakes)
Round 4:  Sunday 7 February 2010 (Willunga)
Round 5:  Sunday 7 March 2010 (Williamstown)
Round 6:  Sunday 11 April 2010 (Willunga)  

The Rendition Homes Team Series
The Rendition Homes Team Series is one of the largest team series events in Australia. Two races of the popular Team Series accompanied by Elite Womens and support graded Criterium races will take place in January during the Santos Tour Down Under.

Cycling SA is the controlling and sanctioning body for the disciplines of track and road racing in South Australia.  It is governed by the rules of the world controlling body, the UCI and the national body, Cycling Australia.Cycling SA and its affiliated Clubs offer road and track race and training programs for all categories of our membership, from Junior Under-11 Boys & Girls to Masters Men and Women Over 65.
