Santos Tour Down Under Wins Award

The 2009 Santos Tour Down Under won the Major Festivals and Events category of the South Australian Tourism Awards on Saturday at an awards ceremony in Adelaide.
It is another coup for the Santos Tour Down Under, which was named the Best Tourism Event at the Australian Event Awards in October.
There was strong competition in the Major Festival and Events category of this years South Australian Tourism Awards, with the Credit Union Christmas Pageant, Adelaide Fringe and Clipsal 500 Adelaide all being awarded silver medals for the high standard of their entries.
The 2009 Santos Tour Down Under will now compete in the Major Festival and Events category of the Australian Tourism Awards in Hobart in February 2010.
