Open event or role-specific opportunities are listed below.
Course Traffic Marshalls
The Santos Tour Down Under and Santos Women's Tour Down Under are looking for a pool of volunteer course marshalls to perform this vital position of keeping the riders and visitors safe along the race routes.
As a volunteer Course Traffic Marshall (must be over 18 years old) you can legally perform the duties to assist the South Australian Police in implementing a rolling road closure to permit the Santos Tour Down Under and Santos Women's Tour Down Under riders and support vehicles to travel safely on South Australian roads.
Course marshalls are also used to identify potential hazards such as roundabouts and traffic islands using flags and whistles to the approaching riders.
Marshalls will be provided with the relevant SAPOL training to safely undertake this role.
Shifts will range in times between 9.00am and 4.00pm and are available from Thursday 11 January – Saturday 20 January 2018.
