The Adelaide Hills town of Stirling was the setting for the start of Staging Connections Stage 2 of the Santos Tour Down Under.
The peloton swept through Stirling five times before setting off through the Adelaide Hills. A sharp descent on Norton Summit and the KOM climb up Torrens Hill Road split the group and provided a thrilling finish into Paracombe.
Richie Porte climbed to victory on Staging Connections Stage 2, claiming the Ochre Jersey for the first time in his TDU career.
