Garmin Willunga Hill Time Trial

It’s you verse the clock, on three kilometres of an iconic climb, famous amongst the cycling community. The new Garmin Willunga Hill Time Trial allows riders of all levels and abilities to take on Willunga Hill. Got the legs? -  Enter individually or through a team entry now. Limited entries remain!  

Beginning at the Santos Tour Down Under Time Trial ramp in the Willunga Township, make your way up Willunga Hill, to the summit. As all riders take on the challenge in sequence, the seven-time King of Willunga Hill Richie Porte will be the final entrant to take to the start ramp, so see where he ranks amongst the other competitors in his attempt of trying to be the best for once more. Can you beat the recently retired star or will The King of Willunga Hill reign again?  

Up for grabs is $1000 cash for the fastest man and woman along with other great prizes. It’s not just about winning though, this participation event offers an enjoyable experience to cyclists of all skill levels. All participants go in the draw for a range of great prizes, and as part of the experience there will be professional timing and course commentary narrating and celebrating everyone’s achievements, no matter the result. Team entry:  

Heading to Willunga Hill as a group or wanting to race against your mates? Registering via a team entry will allow you to partake in the Garmin Willunga Hill Time Trial in the same block of time as your teammates (leaving the ramp one after another). This will allow you the convenience of being able to stick with your cycling friends before and after you’ve conquered the time trial to enjoy the rest of your day at THINK! Road Safety Men’s Stage 5. Plus, receive a 20% discount when you register a team of 4 or more.
