13 – That’s how many times the 2019 Down Under Classic circuit in Adelaide’s East End has been used throughout the history of the race.
19 – The amount of UCI WorldTour teams participating in the 2019 race.
98 – The number of townships and suburbs the peloton passes through during the 21st edition of the race.
857.8 – The number of kilometres the peloton will travel across the six stages of the Santos Tour Down Under. That doesn’t even include the hour of racing at the Down Under Classic!
15 – The number of women’s teams competing in the 2019 Santos Women’s Tour Down Under.
16 – Checker Hill has been used as a King of the Mountain checkpoint 15 times in the race’s history, making 2019 the 16th time.
4 – This is the fourth year the infamous Corkscrew Road has been used as a King of the Mountain. The last time was in 2016.
8 – While Willunga Hill has been featured on every edition of the race, this is the eighth time it will be used as a stage finish. Plus, this will be the first time the famous hill finish – won by Richie Porte five years in a row – will be used on the final stage of the Santos Tour Down Under. This is where the winner of the 2019 edition will be crowned!
