Originally founded in 2015, Lifeplus came onboard in 2023 as a new title sponsor and the team were rebranding the team. Kate Richardson formally competed in Triathlons but transitioned to elite cycling, joining Lifeplus – Wahoo in 2023. A new addition to the team in 2024, Heidi Franz raced with 3 continental teams over the last year.
