GENERAL Classification leader Patrick Bevin (CCC Team) has been given the go-ahead to compete in today's Be Safe Be Seen MAC Stage 6.
Following a nasty crash 10km out from the finish line of southaustralia.com Stage 5, Bevin was taken to hospital to review his injuries.
The team reported he had suffered extensive bruising and abrasions.
He was also monitored overnight for any signs of concussion.

The team doctors have given him their blessing to defend the Santos Ochre Leader's Jersey, but it will no doubt be a tough day on the bike for Bevin as the peloton tackles the famous Willunga Hill.
The New Zealander currently has a seven second lead over reigning champion Daryl Impey, and also retains the Ziptrak Sprint Jersey.
