TDU Viewing Party at Kitchen Farm Pantry

Get ready for a day of excitement, community and fun as Kitchen Farm Pantry and Newenham join forces to host a free viewing party for Ziptrak® Women's Stage 1. 

It’s the perfect setting to gather with friends and family on our lawns, where you'll have the perfect vantage point to bask in the beauty of the Adelaide Hills. Watch the thrill of the WorldTour peloton as the race speeds past Newenham on Flaxley Road.

There’s also a variety of activities and food to entertain everyone and celebrate both cycling and community spirit in style, including live music and a wide range of beverages for all ages. 

Barrel Wine Bar's Fever-Tree Gin & Tonic Summer Garden 
Saturday 13 January 2024

Get roadside and book a table at Barrel Wine Bar for the Santos Tour Down Under. Enjoy prime viewing in the comfort of Barrel’s Fever-Tree summer garden as both the men’s and women’s stages race through the picturesque and leafy village of Stirling.  

Tickets include trackside viewing and a Fever-Tree gin and tonic on arrival, watching the Health Partners Women's Stage 2 peloton speed past twice. Alternatively come and enjoy the finale of the Santos Tour Down Under with the Schwalbe Men’s Stage 6 making three pass-throughs of Stirling village. Pre-booking is recommended but tickets can be purchased on the day. 

Stirling Spin

The leafy township of Stirling welcomes visitors to watch the Health Partners Women's Stage 2 Glenelg to Stirling riders as they complete two loops through local streets. 

There will be activities to entertain the children and ample food and drinks to suit all tastes. Come along and watch the epic race finish at Stirling Oval!  

Fleurieu Peninsula  

Bleasdale X TDU Lawn Party 
Friday 19 January 2024

Enjoy trackside viewing of Hahn Men’s Stage 4 on the lawns of Bleasdale – James Halliday's Winery of the Year – featuring acoustic tunes, wine, food and kids’ activities. Watch the race in one of the best spots in Langhorne Creek. Bleasdale’s lawns are roadside, so you’ll feel the rush as the peloton races past.   

From 11:30am to 4pm, there will be acoustic tunes by Dave Hull, together with Bleasdale vino, Meechi beer, soft drinks and pizza. 

Race from the Rooftop at Kimbolton Wines 
Friday 19 January 2024

Watch the Santos Tour Down Under Hahn Men’s Stage 4 from the exclusive Kimbolton Rooftop. Enjoy a glass of Kimbolton wine and keep the glass as a memento of the day. Sit back and relax from this scenic spot and watch the peloton pass by the vineyards. 

A food truck will be on-site offering burgers and other family-friendly options from 11am to 3pm, with the Cellar Door open for drop-ins from 11am to 4pm. All are welcome to sit on the lawn area, back patio or tasting room and enjoy a glass of wine, wine tasting and burger. 

Kids will be invited to bring their bike (and there will be a few spare ones) to decorate them onsite in race colours between 10am and 11.30am. The bikes will be placed in front of Kimbolton on Langhorne Creek Road with a prize – a family pass to Monarto Safari Park and a plush giraffe – for the best decorated.  

Peninsula Providore Santos Tour Down Under Grove Picnic

With the Santos Tour Down Under Hahn Men’s Stage 4 heading straight past the gate at the picturesque Nangkita Olive Grove, you will be in prime position to capture the excitement of the race. 

As you stroll through the olive groves, you’ll be treated to a serene setting with breathtaking views of the South Australian countryside. Discover the art of olive farming, experience the process of creating exquisite olive oils, and sample an array of gourmet products produced on the Peninsula Providore estate. 

This event will feature a long table lunch and regional produce hampers, with locally sourced, delectable treats. From artisan cheeses to fresh-baked bread – and an assortment of Peninsula Providore’s award-winning olive oils – you’ll have the opportunity to savour the flavours of the broader Fleurieu region, accompanied by wines from local producer Precious Little Wines.

Kimbolton Wines in the Fleurieu Peninsula will be the perfect spot for parents who are eager to see some cycling action while the kids are kept entertained. Their rooftop is the perfect vantage point to catch the Hahn Men's Stage 4 race sweep past the vineyards, all while enjoying local wine.

Little ones are invited to enjoy a regional tasting of cheese, Tommy Chocolate Turtle and a bike wheel (a pizza pin wheel), paired with a cordial flight, Santos Tour Down Under colouring sheet and a Kimbolton pencil tube. 

Murray River Lakes and Coorong  

BBQ, Bridge and Bikes

Want a bird’s eye view of Australia’s favourite cycling race, the beautiful River Murray and the iconic bridge? The Murray Bridge RSL invites you to settle in for the best race day barbecue in town. Local service clubs will provide the eats, with live acoustic music on offer too.    

At the Round House 
Friday 19 January 2024 

Sit back and take in river views and the race on the lawns at the historic Round House. Watch the race on the big screen while enjoying a scrumptious Devonshire tea and coffees plus a live acoustic session with Sam Hissey.  

Tours of the historic Round House will also be available. 

Wheels in Wellington Brunch
Friday 19 January 2024 

Park yourself at the Wellington Hall where there will be a great roadside view of Hahn Men’s Stage 4. 

You’ll also be able to wander through the historic riverside village, dip your feet in the river and enjoy a delicious barbecue brunch and live acoustic music in the hall grounds. 

Barossa 

Barossa Loop De Loop

Enjoy a vibrant street party atmosphere at two main street locations, including an array of family-friendly activities amongst the thrilling action of Ziptrak® Men’s Stage 1: Tanunda to Tanunda. 

Live music, street performers, kids’ activities and circus entertainers will create a carnival atmosphere, set against a backdrop of exhilarating cycling action including three loops of Tanunda's main street and a stage start and finish. Festivities are set to kick off from 9.30am with the official race start at 11.10am. 

Barossa food and beverages will be available throughout the day from Tanunda Traders. Experience Barossa culture and community at its best.
