Join us for an exciting day at the Health Partners Family Day! Pedal your way to fresh, delicious juice on our smoothie bikes, and stay sun-safe with complimentary sunscreen. We’ve got plenty of shade and seating for you to relax and enjoy the day in comfort. Plus, there will be exciting giveaways to make it even more memorable! Whether you're participating in the Health Partners Family Ride or simply bringing the kids to the city for a fun day out, it's an event you won’t want to miss!

Tiny Tour

Let the littlest cycling fans feel the rush of the Santos Tour Down Under at Tiny Tour, a specially designed mini-race track for kids aged 5 and under! This safe and engaging area lets young riders cruise on tricycles or balance bikes. Helmets are required. Bikes and trikes can be brought from home or borrowed onsite.

Get Creative at the Health Partners Family Day Craft Station!

Unleash your inner artist at our Health Partners Family Day Craft Station, where creativity meets cycling fun! Kids (and kids at heart) can:

Health Partners Family Ride Official Ride Guide

Don’t forget to bring some sunscreen, a helmet, and plenty of water on the day. Most importantly, have fun and ride safely!

Thank you for entering your family in the Health Partners Family Ride on Saturday 18 January 2025 in Adelaide's East End

The Family Ride presented by Health Partners is your chance to ride around the 2025 Villawood Men’s Classic circuit in Adelaide’s East End with your family.

Please make sure as a parent / guardian, you read the information within this Official Ride Guide prior to the event. You will find information in here about check in procedures, times, and locations.

On the day

  • Registration opens: 2:00pm
  • Registration closes: 3:45pm
  • Wristband collection: A parent / guardian will be required to sign in and collect wristbands for the whole family. Please bring your ticket with you.
  • Ride marshalling on track: 3:45pm – 4:00pm
  • On track safety briefing: 4:00pm
  • Start time: 4:50pm
  • Finish time: 5:00pm

All participants must check in for the Health Partners Family Ride at the check in tent.  

The wristband provided will need to be worn by all participants to gain access to the track. All families will have access to the track for approximately 1 hour.

Children under 18 must always be accompanied and supervised during the Health Partners Family Ride by a parent or guardian registered as an adult participant. A numbered wristband will be provided to all participants with a space for parent or guardian contact phone number to be added.  

WHAT TO BRING

  • Ticket / order confirmation or valid driver’s license to match the name on your booking
  • A bike in good working order. Child carrier seats, bicycle trailers, tandem and hand powered bicycles are acceptable so that every member of your team can participate (no scooters or unicycles, bike must have working breaks)
  • Australian standards approved helmet
  • Own water bottle
  • Safe, comfortable riding shoes
  • Sunscreen

Road closures

The Santos Tour Down Under operates on fully closed roads for the Villawood Men's Classic. Roads will be closed, and detour signs will be in place. Further information can be found here. Road closures are indicated by the orange line on the below map.
