ProVelo Super League
18-20 January
There’s a brand new look for Australian cycling’s premier domestic competition. The Pro Velo Super League will debut with “SA Kick It”- a three-stage event beginning with a race against the clock on the iconic Willunga Hill climb. Competitors will then race around Victoria Park in a criterium in the heart of the city, before a road race tearing up the 7.7km circuilt at The Bend Motorsport Complex.
AusCycling Group Rides

We know how many Santos Tour Down Under fans also love being on a bike. That’s why we’ve partnered with AusCycling on a series of group rides set to explore Adelaide and regional South Australia. Carpark Climb presented by Wilson Parking

The perfect place to park is at the Carpark Climb presented by Wilson Parking on the Santos Tour Down Under’s penultimate night! Here you’ll catch riders tackling six floors of flat out racing in the East End. A DJ will have the tunes pumping, the bar has the drinks flowing, and the crowd will have the cowbells ringing. This free event always draws a bumper crowd to cheer on the pros as they slingshot to the top.
Vintage Bike Display

Did you know South Australia has a rich history of making bicycles? Nearly 200 manufacturers existed between 1880 and 1980. Enthusiasts are keeping this history alive by showcasing some locally produced models in the City of Adelaide Tour Village. A small collection of British and European vintage race bicycles will also be displayed.

Want to see the latest gear and innovations used by the pros? The daily bike expo has the most up-to-date technology ready to inspect. You’ll hear from a variety of experts as they delve into cycling’s latest gadgets, all in the cool of a giant air-conditioned pavilion in the City of Adelaide Tour Village.
