Get out and about with fellow cyclists during the 2024 Santos Tour Down Under

We know how many Santos Tour Down Under fans also love being on a bike. That’s why we’ve partnered with AusCycling on a new series of group rides set to explore Adelaide and regional South Australia. Prefer a short journey? Ready for something longer, or want to ride out to the day’s race start location? We have options!

Multiple rides will leave from the City of Adelaide Tour Village in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga each morning, with Santos Tour Down Under partner giveaways and optional hill challenges on select routes. Ride options will include a long ride of generally between 70 and 90 kilometres, short rides extending from 25 to 50 kilometres and a third option which takes the group to the excitement of the start line for the WorldTour Race. Check out the full schedule below.

Adelaide-based cycling clubs will host these new rides, which are a great way to meet like-minded cyclists, hone skills, explore less familiar roads and log some kilometres before you watch the world’s best in action. Groups will travel into the Adelaide Hills – covering highlights including Gorge Road, Lobethal, Mylor and Norton Summit – and also head on to the Fleurieu Peninsula, travelling through Belair and on to Willunga.

Group rides will be held between 12 and 21 January and are open to all riders.
