The Challenge Tour presented by The Advertiser is your chance to put yourself and your fitness to the test.
On Friday 24 January 2020, Challenge Tour riders will tackle the Stage 4 route from The Parade in Norwood to Murray Bridge in the ultimate test of stamina.
With start locations at Norwood (162.2km), Williamstown (110km), Mt Torrens (78.5km) and Mannum (33km), there's a course to cater for every skill level.
And, as part of your registration, you will not only get the chance to ride the same route as the WorldTour cyclists, you'll also receive your very own Challenge Tour presented by The Advertiser jersey, feed zones along the route, lunch on arrival, medical and mechanical support, and so much more. Subaru King & Queen of the Mountain
In 2020, we will be introducing a timed segment into the Challenge Tour, where participants can choose to compete in our Subaru King & Queen of the Mountain segment, with prizes valued at $1,700 up for grabs!
The winner for the Subaru King of the Mountain and Subaru Queen of the Mountain will also get to present the stage jersey to the Santos Tour Down Under Subaru King of the Mountain winner of Stage 4 - a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Early Bird Bundle
If you register before 31 October 2019 you can access our Early Bird Bundle, which features a 50% discount on a bus transfer from the finish line to your starting location.
After tackling the challenge, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic ride home in air-conditioned comfort. Sounds like bliss!
