The Riesling and Rattler Trail

About the Route

The Riesling Trail and Rattler Trail are a great place to enjoy the sights of the Clare Valley on a purpose-built pathway. Whether starting at Riverton, Auburn, Clare or Stanley Flat, this will provide a leisurely morning or afternoon trundle. Recent works at Auburn Railway Station now connect the Riesling and Rattler trails, so we recommend starting there and heading north or South. It's a 60km roundtrip from Auburn heading north, and 40km heading south to Riverton. The full course from end to end is 53km.
