A closing stage through the Adelaide Hills stands between contenders and overall victory. Its jagged elevation profile tells the story: constant undulation with barely a moment of flat terrain in the mix.

This 25-kilometre circuit is a dream for fans, who are invited to spend a day roadside as the action unfolds. For riders, though, there’s work to do.
