About Associated Events
The Associated Events Program brings together a collection of independently hosted events and activations that add vibrancy to the Santos Festival of Cycling.
We encourage businesses at start and finish locations, as well as along the race routes, to get involved and showcase their venue, products, and experiences to those looking to enjoy a little more of South Australia. Your involvement could be as simple as a themed food offering (like a TDU-inspired donut) or as elaborate as a long lunch timed for the peloton’s arrival.
2027 Santos Tour Down Under
In 2027, we’re looking for unique and creative events that capture the excitement of Australia’s greatest cycling race. Whether it’s a local flavour experience, a community gathering, or an innovative activation that celebrates cycling culture, we want your ideas to help make the Santos Tour Down Under even more memorable.
Each nominated activation and event is assessed by the Santos Tour Down Under Team. Acceptance into the program is not guaranteed but event organisers will endeavour to work with interested parties where possible to provide opportunities to be involved.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- A compelling South Australian tourism experience
- No commercial partner exclusivity conflicts
- Activity that can be potentially integrated into the race broadcast
- Builds on the spectator experience
- Bricks and Mortar Business
