ABOUT Health Partners Men's Stage 3

It’s fast, it’s furious. Get set for an efex King of the Mountain climb less than five minutes into racing, followed by a mix of terrain sure to test the peloton.  

The 145.3-kilometre Health Partners Men’s Stage 3 starts in Tea Tree Gully and travels into the Barossa before heading back towards Adelaide. Relatively modest ascents will be welcomed by sprinters, while general classification hopefuls may target this stage to secure crucial seconds over their rivals. A sharp descent down Gorge Road at Paracombe sets up a thrilling finish.

The Santos Tour Down Under organisers advises that there will be low level helicopter operations between 12 and 21 January for the purpose of broadcast and media operations for the event. The flight plans have been reviewed and approved by the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority and will occur strictly for the purpose of broadcasting the 2024 Santos Tour Down Under.
