Start THINK! Road Safety Men's Stage 1 by the sea at Henley Beach, one of Adelaide's most loved coastal destinations and a favourite among local cyclists. Just 20 minutes from the city centre, the Santos Tour Down Under is returning to Henley, bringing world-class cycling to this vibrant beachside hub.
With its breezy esplanade, iconic jetty and plenty of cafes and restaurants to explore, it is the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere before the peloton rolls out at 10:40am.
From the coast, the race heads east through Adelaide's suburbs before tackling the rolling roads of the Adelaide Hills. Spectators can catch the action through a string of picturesque towns and villages before the riders make their way towards the stage finish in Gumeracha.
The race is expected to finish at approximately 2:36pm on Albert Street, Gumeracha, where fans can witness the first stage winner of the 2027 Santos Tour Down Under. Arrive early to secure a viewing spot, explore the town's local cafes and attractions, and enjoy a day immersed in South Australia's world-renowned cycling culture.
