With an impressive 11 Grand Tour Victories Movistar is Spain’s longest standing UCI WorldTour team, started in 1976 by a group of amateur cyclists. Team member Gorka Izagirre has finished 7^th twice overall at the Santos Tour Down Under (2013, 2018) and came 2^nd to Richie Porte at Paracombe in 2017.
